About Us

Established in 1998 by neurologist Gary A. L'Europa, MD, NeuroHealth has grown from a modest neurology practice to a multi-disciplined medical center for a wide range of neurological disorders. NeuroHealth is the region's premier center for the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders, leading the way in neurology.

Our team of board-certified compassionate physicians and therapists will help you manage your disorder and maintain a productive, healthy lifestyle. We provide comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation, so that you can now be tested, treated and cared for at one centrally-located facility.

Our Care Centers

Our state-of-the-art facility is the only center of its kind in the Rhode Island area, offering southern New Englanders the comfort and convenience of complete diagnostic, medical, and rehabilitative care-all under one roof. NeuroHealth clinical staff and area physicians have access to comprehensive in-house testing capabilities including NCS, EMG, EP, EEG, lumbar puncture, MRI/MRA/MRV, and neuropsychological testing.

"I already recommend NeuroHealth to others and consider you one of the best practices I have ever experienced in the medical field. The only way to improve is to clone yourselves to make yourselves available to more people. I love the approach of total medical care."

"I am very pleased – actually ecstatic – about my last month coming to NeuroHealth. I have never before received such help, and I now feel better. I will let anyone who asks know about NeuroHealth. If they suffer migraines, they will hear from me of your commitment to helping patients."

"I'm always very comfortable and feel that all my questions have been answered. Today I brought up a new concern, hand and wrist pain, and was referred to Dr. L'Europa for a nerve test and to occupational therapy immediately. I am completely satisfied with the service today and always."

Our Neuro-oncology team specializes in neurological disorders associated with cancer, and our stroke team works with patients who have had major strokes or minor TIAs. Patients with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Parkinson's Disease, sometimes called Parkinsons Disease or Parkinsons, may develop a related dementia, so our dementia specialists are often part of their rehabilitation plan.

We Are Truly Multi-Disciplinary

We diagnose, treat, and care for many very common neurological disorders, such as carpal tunnel syndrome and headaches. Headache, including migraine headaches, are one of our specialty area. Alzheimer's disease, sometimes called Alzheimers Disease or Alzheimers, is just one form of dementia that we treat.
